Appointments can be made by self-referral or through your GP or consultant.

All fees quoted on request. Fees include full professional indemnity insurance with the Irish Nutrition & Dietetic Institute.

Fees to MINDI-registered dietitians/clinical nutritionists are exempt from VAT.

 

Consultation:

During the consultation you may be asked questions about your:

​

• Medical history

​

• Symptoms of suspected conditions associated with diet

​

• Weight history – to determine your ideal Body Mass Index (BMI) and weight goals if applicable

​

• Lifestyle and exercise

​

• Eating Pattern and regular food habits

 

Body Analyses will include:

​

• Weight

​​

• Height

​​

• Body mass Index

​

• Body fat mass

​

• Body fat percentage

​

• Fat Free mass

​​

• Total Body Water

​
 

Your treatment:

​​

• Your treatment will be based on Nutrition information that is scientifically supported and translated into practical advice.

​​

• A personalised nutrition plan.

​​

• Any discussion you may have relating to your diet and lifestyle.

​

• Counselling as part of your Dietetic treatment

​

• Full nutrient analyses may be necessary.

​

• Confidentiality is guaranteed.

 

 

Appointments are based on one to one consultations with a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. All programs are individualised with tailor made dietary advice from an expert.

The advice will always be simple, effective and practical. The diet has to fit into your life and not your life having to change for your diet.

 

Payments:

Dietetic consults are approved by VHI, Laya, Aviva, Glo health.

Fees may be included in Med 1 form for tax relief and forms are available from the tax office.

Cancellation Policy:

We would greatly appreciate cancellation notice 24 hours prior to appointment.

A strict cancellation policy applies if inadequate notice is provided.

A fee also applies to non-attendance for appointments.
